Lemon Tree Hotel Vadodara

The staff kept the function running smoothly with attentive, courteous service, and their hospitality added a lovely touch. The food was a hit with everyone: there was plenty of variety, each dish was fresh and flavorful, and the presentation was beautiful. It was a delightful visit, and I’d recommend the place for functions and gatherings.

We had a great two-day stay, and breakfast was lovely. There were a few problems with our room, but they were sorted out right away. Thanks to Hira, Kalpesh and Priya for looking after us so well, and to chefs Rohit and Deepak for the wonderful food.

The restaurant team were polite, understanding, and tried to help once we explained the problems. The property has potential, but my stay at Lemon Tree Vadodara was disappointing. The bathroom drain kept clogging, which was inconvenient and unhygienic, and the room needed better upkeep. At the front desk, policies were explained rigidly, with little empathy or flexibility, so we felt unwelcome. Staff at reception also came across as unprofessional and uncooperative, seeming more focused on extra charges than helping guests. We checked in only four hours early but were charged for a full day, which felt unreasonable. The buffet was limited and insufficient in quantity. Several items seemed not freshly prepared, and the rice was hard and dry. With better management, staff training, and a more guest-focused approach, this hotel could offer a much better stay.

The bed was comfortable, and the rooms had spacious wardrobes, a work table and chair, and a sofa, in line with Lemon Tree standards. I also appreciate Lemon Tree giving employment to specially abled people. Still, service during my visit wasn’t good, which made it disappointing to give a Lemon Tree outlet three stars or less. If you’ve stayed at their other city hotels, I’d suggest not booking here, or arriving without expectations. The bathroom’s sliding door took extra force to open and close. Toiletries weren’t in the room, and even after I asked, they took a long time to arrive. Restaurant food wasn’t good: items repeated day after day, and the bread was very hard. The internet was slow and kept dropping. The reception is raised, so you have to climb steps to reach it.
