Sayaji Vadodara

Mittal Madam’s personal involvement helped make our stay and event a real success. I’d suggest Hotel Sayaji in Vadodra for a party, event, or family stay. Sayaji has a reputation for food quality, too. Housekeeping was prompt, and Rohit, Manisha and Brijesh did their jobs very well. They were polite and knew their work. I’ll especially remember Mr Vinod for the good service he gave us at lunch and dinner on 7th/ 8th Feb’26 in Emerald and Sapphire hall.

For a two-week stay, the repeated food became especially frustrating: breakfast, lunch, and dinner had the same dishes every day, with little variety and much the same taste. The food quality was poor. Room cleaning was also inadequate, and basic items weren’t changed or maintained as expected. The staff response was generally slow and unprofessional, particularly in the restaurant, where people seemed more interested in avoiding work. It felt as though only a few “special guests” got proper attention, though a few individuals were exceptions. I’d heard plenty about Sayaji Hotel, Vadodara, and expected more from a 5-star property. Guests paying premium prices should get respectful treatment, decent food, and consistent service. I hope management takes this seriously and improves housekeeping, staff behavior, service quality, and food variety.

We were made to feel comfortable throughout our meal, thanks to staff who were polite, attentive, and prompt. They welcomed us warmly and served with a smile. The restaurant itself felt relaxed and inviting, with elegant décor, comfortable seats, pleasant lighting, and background music. It would suit a family dinner or a special occasion. The food was fresh tasting, flavorful, and nicely presented. The spices were well balanced, and the quality stayed consistent. You can see the chef’s skill in it. Sayaji Restaurant made this feel like a full dining experience, and I’d recommend it for the food, atmosphere, and service.

The warm, professional help from Shukla, Taniya, and Rashi at the front desk really made our stay at Hotel Sayaji Vadodara stand out. The rooms and ambiance were excellent as well. We had a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend it.
