Raya Resorts

Having a private pool was the best part for me. I could step out for a quiet morning dip or a late swim without crowds or having to think about timing. The bathtub was spacious and well placed, just right for unwinding after a beach day, and it really added to the room. Raya Resort feels peaceful while still being close to Vagator Beach and the main cafes and clubs. The staff were professional, polite, and responsive, and check-in and checkout were smooth. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with a clean, modern look throughout. I’d consider coming back for a private, stylish, relaxing stay.

The pool music played all day and could get so loud that it carried into the rooms, which was disturbing when we were trying to rest after a long day. The rooms were spacious, but the bed and bath linen really need replacing. Our towels were stained, as were the pillowcases and runners. Service was prompt, and a couple of staff members were very customer-friendly and gave us a late checkout when we asked, a nice gesture given what happened. We stayed two nights and lost about three hours of power overnight. Staff had no idea when the generator would start. Apparently it had broken, and they only found out when the power went out that day. That was a frustrating, unpleasant night, especially at a resort calling itself four-star. They tried to make up for it by arranging an in-house party for guests and a cake for our anniversary, which was thoughtful, but the disruption still marred the stay. I don’t think it was money well spent. The property needs an upgrade in maintenance, and I hope they take this feedback seriously.

The staff’s care made our family stay memorable and completely stress-free. We were traveling with a baby, and they prepared fresh baby food whenever we needed it. Every staff member, managers included, was warm, attentive, and eager to help us feel comfortable. The resort is also centrally located, so popular North Goa beaches and cafés were all accessible within 30 minutes. We’d highly recommend it to families looking for a relaxing getaway.

Pool Boy Gunanand was professional, polite, and attentive to the details. He helped make the pool experience feel truly five-star. The pool area stayed clean and hygienic, and the water quality and safety standards were excellent throughout our stay.
