Tipsy Inn

There was barely knee-deep water in the swimming pool, and the toilets were very small. The beds were uncomfortable, and the rooms were in bad shape, with cockroaches roaming around and broken window locks. There was no cleanliness at all, with dogs and cats having made a mess everywhere.

Service was very poor. Our room wasn't clean, and there was junk around. The washing machine was left outside the room. Most of all, we had no water. We told reception four times, but it still didn't come, so we checked out without taking a bath.

We paid Rs. 1200 for one night, but the room wasn't worth that price. It was very small, smelled foul, and the toilet smelled just as bad. The bedsheet was dirty, and it seemed someone else had used the same bed before us. There was a hamdawash in the room. I felt stuck because of their greed, and regret staying here. I'd rate it 4 out of 10, as the price was very high compared to Rome. 👎😤

I've stayed here twice, once in 2023 and again in 2025. Google suggested it when I was looking for pet-friendly accommodation in Goa. When I first contacted them in 2023, I was surprised that the host sent a live video of the available rooms. She's a very sweet lady and honest about room availability. I tried again in December 2024, but there was no accommodation available. I came with my cats, kittens, and dogs, and our family had a lovely time. The owner has dogs and cats of her own and is very empathetic toward furry friends. We weren't bothered during our stay with the pets, and I had some nice conversations with the owner about our pet stories and experiences. The place is in a prime location but still serene, pleasant, and beautiful. The rooms are clean, cozy, and comfortable for families. Pets are very welcome, the pool is properly maintained, and the staff are well behaved. They also have their own cafe, and the food is amazing, so give it a try. Cafes and restaurants are nearby too. I'd recommend it to any pet parent visiting Goa.
