Mo and Vicky made this two-week stay special, and I was very sad to leave. The host Mo is a jovial, friendly local gentleman who has travelled a lot. He’s ready to help and take good care of guests, and no request goes unanswered. Vicky, the live-in staff member, was very helpful and a fabulous cook. The villa is in a laneway just a few metres from Payamballam Beach, at its quieter end. Shops, tea stalls, cafes and restaurants are still within walking distance. In the evening, little local shacks open farther up the road, where you can have tea and delicious veg and non veg savouries and sweets right on the beach. The fried bananas deserve a special mention! It’s a gorgeous, pretty place, very clean and beautifully maintained. Upstairs are 2 very big rooms, a balcony and rooftop. Downstairs has a lounge, fully equipped kitchen and 2 cute extra bedrooms. There’s even a washing machine. All rooms have ensuites, and AC is available as an optional extra. Buses are within walking distance, and tuk tuks can be called. It’s often heavily booked, so get in quick. Many thanks to Mo and Vicky.

A warm, homely place very close to the beach, with a beautiful sea view and a peaceful feel. The complimentary tea and coffee were a nice touch, and having a full-fledged kitchen made things really convenient. It’s pet-friendly too, which was a big plus for us.

We went with a group of friends. Although Mr.Murali Mohan wasn’t at the property, he arranged for us to be welcomed and hosted properly, then came by in person and helped us find places that fit our needs. He also suggested excellent authentic kerala food and helped us in every way he could. The rooms were extremely spacious. The washrooms were old fashioned, but no complaints. We loved our time there. The calm, relaxing atmosphere made the stay really pleasant. My room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were welcoming, polite and attentive throughout. I truly enjoyed the hospitality.

The freshly prepared breakfast was delicious, and I’d love to come back. It’s a wonderful, relaxing place near the beach, just a short walk from the shore with beautiful views. A great experience!
