We were really happy to explore the greenery around the property, especially their own cardamom plantation. The landscape and surrounding nature were beautiful, and our room was very good with a great view.

The garden was pleasant for relaxing, and there was more space around the property than we expected. Since we were the only guests, they made food to our choice, and it tasted good. Service was good enough too. The place is around 20 km outside Thekkady, and the property and room both felt old and not properly maintained, though some new rooms are being built. We had a good experience overall, but the distance from Thekkady and the property's age stood out.

The property is in a wonderful location, and with proper upkeep or renovation it could be one of the best places to stay. Our stay was let down by poor room service and food. There were no kettles in the rooms, and the hot water wasn't available, so using the restroom with freezing cold water was really difficult. The pool also needs cleaning and maintenance. Please look after the property and improve the service.

Eletaria is in a lovely spot, with attractive surroundings and good-looking buildings. We were alone at the location, though, and for some reason I couldn't sleep well even though I was very tired.
