I was very happy with this budget stay and would come back. The view from the room was superb, and the room was spacious with a neat bed and tidy bathroom. Hot water was available 24 hours, which was really useful. Soap and toiletries weren't included, but I got them for a small fee, no big deal. They also provided a water bottle. Caretaker Suresh was kind and hospitable, handled everything quickly, and helped however he could, always with a smile. There's a lift up to the third floor and parking just behind the building, where it felt safe to leave the car while going around. They can also arrange a jeep for trips. I stayed two days and loved it.

The washroom wasn't clean, the balcony door was defective, and they didn't provide a towel or soap. The same room was charged at different rates to different customers. The price feels a bit high for the service, so I'd try to avoid this hotel.

This was the worst experience I've had with a hotel. The room hadn't been cleaned after someone else used it, and I'm sure the bedsheets hadn't been changed. There were cigarette butts, and the bathroom was awful. Not even one bottle of drinking water was provided. After charging so much for a room in that condition and with that service, they still asked for extra money for a towel and soap. It's not fair to charge customers without providing proper service.

I had unforgettable moments here. It's in a lovely spot in the heart of vandiperyar, with very clean rooms and a beautiful balcony for looking out at the tea plantation and the cold mist passing by. There are very good food outlets nearby.
