Babu Guest House

This is a basic hotel that covers all the essentials, with neat, clean rooms at a very affordable price. The caretaker really pays attention to what you need, and the manager is very good. It’s near all the ghats, right in the heart of Old Varanasi.

It’s ridiculously cheap, and a nice clean, comfy place to chill. The property is an easy walk from dasashwamedh ghat, and there’s a common room with video games and other indoor games. The staff were supportive and polite.

Inside the noisy city, it’s a quiet Oasis, with a big garden and rooftop where you can relax. The host was friendly and helpful, and it’s close to everything, within 1 km to the ghats. The dorm room is basic, but water and wifi are included, so it’s well worth the budget price.

It was a pleasant stay in a good location, though it’s a little far from the ghats. Getting to the place is difficult because vehicles can’t enter the road, so you have to walk around 100 meters. No auto or rickshaw can come in. Location-wise, it’s okay.
