We liked the lawn and relaxed atmosphere, and the staff were pleasant. Food was good and, when we ordered ahead, it arrived right on time. They also arranged an auto and cab for our temple visit and sightseeing, both of which were punctual. Our room was spacious, and having a fan in the washroom was welcome during April's hot weather. The property sits deep in a residential area, far from the main road. We needed an auto, cab, or e-rickshaw to get there and leave, and there were no nearby food shops or restaurants for trying local food. The AC never worked properly during our five nights, and there was no toilet roll in the washroom. At checkout they wouldn't give us a printed or handwritten bill for the food we'd ordered. We were satisfied, but for the price the stay could have been better.

The peaceful setting and lovely landscape, with a view of the Ganga, made Brij Hari Villa a great place to stay in Varanasi. It suited me as someone who values a quiet atmosphere. The staff were all well-mannered and very good, and the hotel is within walking distance of Assi Ghat. They can also arrange Varanasi tours at very reasonable rates.

Amit was attentive and courteous, and the food was delicious, with authentic flavours. Brij Hari Villa has a calm, heritage-like feel that offered a peaceful break from the city. The property is beautifully kept, and our spacious, clean rooms were thoughtfully designed. We had a truly delightful stay.

The view of the Ganga was breathtaking and gave the stay a special charm. Amit, the owner, was welcoming and very helpful, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained. We did have trouble finding the property. The area felt a bit shady, and the location is tricky for first-time visitors. Staff could also use more information about food availability and better general coordination. Even so, we had a good experience, with some room to improve the directions and staff awareness.

The calm atmosphere, tidy rooms, and thoughtful hospitality made our stay at Brij Hari Villa delightful. It has a lovely heritage feel alongside modern comfort, and the staff made sure we felt welcome and looked after. A cosy, elegant option in Varanasi.
