Buddha Stays

I've stayed here twice and had a great experience both times, thanks to the service, location, and good staff. The hotel is very near IP Sigra Mall. The rooms are nice, clean, spacious, and have the basic amenities. Breakfast is provided, but you need to manage other meals yourself. They allow online food orders, and tea is available anytime.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were cosy, just as in the pictures. Our problem came when we extended the stay. We'd booked a standard room, but two staff members who were there the next day said we'd been given a premium room and had to pay the premium rate. We hadn't asked for that room, so it was their mistake, but they argued with us about it. Please clarify the room type with them to avoid this kind of hassle.

It's a clean and safe hotel, and the nearby temples and sightseeing spots are easy to reach. They're about 3 to 5 kms away, so getting around is convenient. A very good place to book when you come to Varanasi.

We booked through makemytrip and stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. The room was decent enough, though not very clean, but the overall experience wasn't great for our family or for a solo traveller because of the security concerns. This isn't really a hotel, it's a commercial building with two floors, and half of one floor is still commercial. There's no security. Someone knocked on the gate saying they wanted to repair the bathroom while we were there with family, which felt inappropriate. The location wasn't anything special either. We had to book our own auto, and there were no shared rides.
