We felt safe and had enough privacy, so it seems suitable for families too. The place is spacious and close to the main ghat, which saves time. The owner is super nice, well mannered, and well behaved, and the rooms are clean and better than other hotels in this price range. All the offered amenities worked at full capacity. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the prices on the menu card, and give you directions and suggestions so you don't get conned. We're satisfied with the service and would recommend it to people who want a clean, well-maintained, hygienic room without paying 5⭐ hotel prices. Big thumbs up.

The rooms were clean and roomy, but the heat made them almost unbearable. There was no window, no AC, and barely a fan, so in humid weather it felt suffocating after an hour. They charged over 1300, yet there was no cold water, and they wouldn't even provide a plate, glass, or bowl. The place is basically a house, and getting to tea or other basics means walking about a kilometre. The hotel was being managed by a teenager, who came across as a typical UP guy, always ready to argue.

Getting there means a long walk through a very narrow lane, so a bike would help. The rooms had poor ventilation, and with the doors shut they felt suffocating; we slept with them wide open because we didn't have many valuables. We also ran into trouble with early check-in, and there was no room service. When we asked for clean linens, room hygiene was an issue too.

There was no food available, and the room had no ventilation. The caretaker never picked up when I called in the morning to get the geyser started, so I had to bathe with cold water. Nobody was available to clean until checkout, and there was no useful guidance or information to help arrange a tour. The hotel was also very hard to find, though proper directions over the phone could make it easier.

There are plenty of sweets in the gali where the hotel is, and an ATM nearby too. Dashashwamedh Ghat and Kashi Vishwanath Temple are roughly 500 metres away. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available at budget prices, and the stay itself is affordable. A good spot for families or friends.
