The front lobby made a lasting impression on me. Warm lights and white sofas created a lovely, peaceful scene, like "a small snowfall in a village where a monk can sit and talk to himself." The hotel was impeccably clean, with a pleasing atmosphere and even a handy little shop for necessities. The waiters and service staff were responsive and attentive. I was there for an event, and the catering arrangements let the experience down. Food service started very late, so the meal arrived cold. The dining area and crowd flow were poorly managed, which spoiled the meal despite the ingredients seeming good. My experience at Clark Hotel was okay overall. The setting and dedicated staff deserve praise, but anyone booking this premium venue for an event should make sure the arrangements are handled properly.
