The staff and owner were polite and helped with local advice, plus rental bikes and scooties. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the place felt safe for women traveling. It’s near the ghats and was reasonably priced. I spent four nights here, and it ended up being my best stay in Varanasi. The relaxed vibe made it easy for backpackers to meet people.

I was happy staying here and would come back. The calm atmosphere and clean, well-kept place made for a nice stay, and the owner was cooperative and helpful with suggestions for places to see in varanasi. The dorms are budget friendly, and the location puts every spot within walking distance. The amenities and services were good too.

The bathrooms were clean, and there was drinking water, wifi, and access to a lovely balcony. My first stay at Holy Ganges Dorms was a great surprise for the price, with roomy bunk beds and large personal lockers. The host was extremely friendly. I’d recommend it.
