Hotel D C Grand

When we arrived, the room was untidy and poorly maintained, nothing like the attractive, clean-looking photos shown online while booking. We asked staff to clean it, but they refused. They were uncooperative and showed no concern for guest satisfaction. This felt like misleading advertising with fake pictures and false promises. My experience was very bad, so think twice before booking and do so at your own risk.

The staff were polite, helpful, and very nice to deal with. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. I had a great stay here and would recommend it if you're looking for a comfortable place. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I wouldn't recommend Hotel DC Grand. The rooms lacked basic upkeep: they weren't properly cleaned, the bathroom was in bad shape, taps were broken, the AC remote was missing, and the kettle didn't work. On top of that, the manager, Mr Chaturvedi, demanded payment for an extra day at checkout, despite our earlier agreement. I reminded him, but he denied it and argued over the phone. Since I was about to miss my train, I felt pressured to pay. Nobody had mentioned extra charges at check-in or during the stay, and the last-minute demand felt unfair and unprofessional. The booking began in February, when I reserved 2 rooms for 6 people and paid an advance equal to one day's room rent. My father fell ill, so I had to cancel the trip. I told the hotel manager, Mr. Siddharth and Chaturvedi, and asked to reschedule. I explained that only 3 people would come next time and asked them to apply the amount already paid to a 2-day stay. He agreed and assured me there'd be no additional payment. Later, when we visited Varanasi for family rituals and stayed there, Mr. Chaturvedi didn't honor that commitment and took advantage of the situation. Travelers should be cautious.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and big, and room service was amazing. We found the place very family friendly, with friendly, helpful staff giving us great service. The ambiance was excellent too. Definitely recommended.
