The food was fantastic, and the rooms were clean. The location was great, close to the airport. Room service and a few minor maintenance problems let the stay down, even though staff tried to help. A bit more attention to service and upkeep would make this place perfect. I had an amazing stay and highly recommend it.

We stayed for 23 days. The people were sweet and easy to contact, and the room was large, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. It was pretty too. Still, communication was difficult because nobody spoke English well. We had to keep asking for room cleaning and toilet paper, and near the end we even had to request a toilet bin, which is of course needed. The food wasn’t very good, and the coffee tasted strange. The air conditioning was noisy and kept switching off; it was set directly toward the outside, so we had mosquitos around all the time. Thank you for the kindness, but we felt we had to be honest.

The receptionist was very rude. We didn’t know the airport fare, and he quoted Rs.500, saying the cab was at the hotel. After checking Uber, where it showed Rs.154, we realized the price was much too high and asked to cancel within two minutes of making the request. After that, he didn’t send anyone to help with our luggage and spoke to us very rudely. He should be taught how to talk to customers. Check-out time: 10.00 am 31st Jan 2025.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Hotel Royal Country Club- Varanasi had spotless rooms, impeccable service, and a prime location. I highly recommend it.
