OYO 14345 Hotel Panchsheel

The rooms were filthy, with hair, stains, and dirt in the beds, and the ACs weren't working. I was very disappointed and wouldn't book here again at any cost. Even public washrooms are better maintained than this hotel. The staff were eating paan masala and tobacco, among other things. The room was in such poor condition that sleeping in a car would be far better. I would advise others not to book this hotel.

The room and bathroom were filthy, furniture was broken, the flush didn't work, the AC barely worked, the mattress was bad, the blanket dirty, the sheet stained, the almirah in poor condition, and the TV didn't work. There was no geyser. The landlines didn't work either, and the intercom was useless, just for show. Rats were in the lobby. Disgusting, horrible experience. I would never recommend this place. They should shut it down. I was there with my parents and needed a room immediately. Online, the price was lower by 925 precisely. When we raised that at the hotel, they closed online booking right away, so we couldn't book at that rate and had to accept the price quoted to us. He first offered one room for three people, but when we said we'd book two rooms online, he said they don't provide extra mattresses and we had to take two rooms. He quoted 1400, then agreed to 1200. The staff were extremely rude and didn't reply properly. They also came into the room without knocking. They could switch off the AC from outside, and turned it off while I was inside, despite my paying for an AC room. They didn't provide tea or coffee even if you paid for it, and there was no kitchen. There was nothing nearby, no shop at all. He said the wifi wouldn't work. I don't know how a working professional could manage a stay at this filthy hotel.

The room was clean, spacious enough, and well-kept. The washroom was clean and hygienic, with taps and showers that worked, which was a relief. The lift, lobby, corridors, and stairs were neat and maintained. The hotel is close to the railway station, a market, a mall, and eateries. For what I paid, it was worth the price. Food was mixed. They have some kind of kitchen that takes orders, but delivery was slow and the food was average. I also found it annoying that they asked for payment as soon as they delivered. I'd rather pay the full bill at checkout. Room service was average, and the staff seemed undertrained. I'd give the hotel 3.5 stars, taking off 1.5 for the room service staff and kitchen service.

I had a terrible stay, and would strongly discourage others from booking here. Customers are misled by the incorrect location shown on the My Trip app. The manager was nasty and, after answering the customer's call, switched phones and didn't take the call again. The service was the worst.
