For a night on the way through the city, the hotel is functional and cleanliness was generally acceptable. The bathrooms could use more careful upkeep, though, and the rooms feel a little expensive for what’s provided. Wi-Fi was unreliable during my stay, which could be a problem if you need it for work or communication. It can also be hard to find, especially for a first-time visitor, and clearer directions or signs would help. There’s no kitchen on site, so you have to rely on outside food. I’d consider it for a short stop, but not an extended family stay where comfort and amenities matter more.

The manager arranged an early check-in, and the staff were very polite. It’s near the railway station, and I had a comfortable stay at new ashiyana palace. I’d recommend it for a family or a couple.

For my budget, this was one of the best hotel options in Varanasi. The manager was polite, the rooms were neat and clean, and the bathroom was hygienic. It’s also close to the railway station.
