It was peaceful around River View Guest House, even though it's close to important places. The property is about 50 meters off the busy main road, so traffic and crowds weren't much of an issue. It's roughly 2 km from Sankatmochan Temple, and right beside the holy Ganga, where the calm river setting was the best part of my stay. The rooms and grounds were clean and well looked after. It was a comfortable, relaxing place for a family or anyone wanting a quiet stay in Varanasi. I had a very pleasant visit and would recommend it to people looking for somewhere peaceful near the river.

A cute dog made an already lovely stay even better. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We even called late at night and they answered right away.
