Rudra Ganga Hotel

The rooftop restaurant has a lively, lovely feel and an unobstructed view of the River Ganga, and the food there is tasty. For staying, the hotel is a good option near Assi Ghat, within walking distance of the Samne Ghat area. Most rooms look out toward the river, and the staff were decent and cooperative.

Samne Ghat is an easy walk away and tends to be quiet, with fewer crowds. The hotel room was really nice, and the service was good. There’s also a rooftop restaurant with a view of the Ganga.

We regret booking this hotel. They make false promises and, in my experience, seem focused on taking money by fooling customers. Food is limited to one plate per person, and they ask for extra money for every service. The service was awful, and staff had no manners when speaking to customers. Please don’t repeat our mistake, or you may regret it badly.

I stayed for five days and would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a place in Varanasi. The staff were humble and gentle, and service was quick and neat. The hotel’s rooftop serves amazing food with a view of the Ganga River.
