The owners were incredibly kind and hospitable, more so than anyone else I’ve stayed with in India. They welcomed me enthusiastically at check-in and whenever I returned from a day out. One even took me around Varanasi on his moped for free, which was a lovely gesture and helped me get to know the area. My room was clean and comfortable, with a swamp cooler I never needed thanks to the airflow and working fan. The private bathroom was detached but clean. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the main ghats, depending on road traffic. I was there during Deepawali, so it was busy most days. Food I ordered through the owners was always great. I’d absolutely stay here again in Varanasi.
