The Kashi Residency

Even for just one day, I felt welcomed and valued at Kashi Residency. Krishna Ji, Gopi Ji, and Raj Ji were polite and attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly. My room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the hotel had a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. I'd gladly stay here again.

Assi ghat is within walking distance, and the location is good. The rooms were clean, room service was prompt, and the staff behaved well. The restaurant service was very slow, though, so allow at least half an hour for food. There’s no elevator and the stairs are steep, which could be a major problem for older people looking at the suite options.

Krishna Dai made our family trip stress-free. He knew Varanasi well, guided us at every step, and arranged visits to the famous temples and ghats as well as the Ganga aarti. We didn't have to worry about anything. We stayed at Kashi Residency for 2 nights and 3 days, and the rooms were clean with all the basic amenities. Everyone, from reception and the front desk to housekeeping and the helpers, was welcoming, polite, and helpful. We had an amazing time and would love to visit again 😊

Anjali and her husband gave us a whirlwind but authentic tour, with temples, a boat trip, local lassi, and seats at the evening Aarti. It gave us a real feel for the spirituality of the place. The hotel is close to Assi Ghat, yet feels like a refuge from Varanasi's noise and bustle. The staff were very helpful, and the restaurant food was excellent quality and good value.
