The resort grounds are lovely and well kept, with lots of flowers and plants, and the swimming pool was a nice bonus. There's also an in-house Ayurvedic clinic with affordable massages, which I found relaxing. It's a peaceful spot close to North Cliff, so cafes, shops, and the beach are easy to get to. The rooms were clean and decent, with the basics for a comfortable stay. A pleasant, budget-friendly stay in Varkala. 🌴🌊

The one thing I wished for was longer pool hours. After a busy day, being able to swim and relax at night would have made the stay even better. Everything else was lovely, especially the service. Mr Anandhu made check-in easy and welcoming, while Mr Aslam and MrNikhil gave us excellent dining suggestions. Mr Manu from housekeeping kept our room clean. The property itself is beautiful, and we loved the resort.

There are lots of plants and flowers around the resort, and the ambience is very nice. It has a swimming pool, and the Varkala cliff is close by, which is a good reason to choose it. The rooms are smaller than hotels in allepey and nearby places, and the washrooms are tight. You have to sit near the commode to bathe. The building seems old, and the locks are very old and not in good condition. Breakfast costs a little much and comes as a buffet, with no option to order. Still, it was nice overall, especially if you find a deal below 2500.

Being close to North Cliff, the attractive property, and the huge balcony were the best parts of my stay. I booked a standard non AC room, though the room itself was very small and had a strange smell. There were ants in the room and on the bed. The bigger problem was how reception handled an issue with drinking water. Staff told me the resort had just one purifier, and it broke on my second night. When I asked for water to refill our bottles, the night receptionist said to buy bottles from them. After we argued and I pointed out that two guests had received only one bottle for two days, they acknowledged we should have had four complimentary bottles and gave us three. They said any more would cost extra. The next day I bought water outside, for obvious reasons. It left me feeling that if something goes wrong, the resort won't take responsibility and the customer has to pay for their mistake. In my case it was the purifier, but it could be something else for you. Also, I don't know how they expect one small purifier to serve a whole resort. The one at my house is bigger, and only two people live there.
