Raja Park Beach Resort

The location is the main draw, about 1 KM on foot from the cliff beach and black sand beach. Rooms are basic, parking is available, and the hotel is reached by a narrow road that cars can use. There’s no restaurant on site and not many places to eat nearby. The pool was being maintained during my stay, but staff said they could arrange access to one at a nearby hotel if needed. Don't expect resort facilities. It works as simple accommodation if you plan to eat out or spend most of your time elsewhere.

We left at 10:00 PM, just four hours after checking in, because none of the problems we reported at 6:00 PM were resolved. Staff told us to wait three hours, but the stained or damp towels and sheets were still there, and the rooms had spider webs. Bird droppings covered the walkways, bathrooms were filthy and missing ventilation covers, and even the pool looked unhygienic. We paid the premium New Year rate for three rooms, which we expected during peak season, hoping for a professional resort stay for our elderly parents and children. Instead it fell well below resort standards, not even like a local lodge, and ruined our New Year’s Eve. Avoid it.

The rooms had plenty of space, but the curtains were see-through and a light outside my window stayed on constantly. Some staff weren't helpful. There were no towels in my room, and the one I got after asking was dirty.

We paid for breakfast, but none was provided. They sent us to another resort, where we found only empty utensils. Staff were unresponsive, and the shared open area for all guests felt uncomfortable and unsafe. The rooms were small and dirty, and Raja Park Beach Hotel was cheap but completely unprofessional. A total waste of time and money, avoid it.
