Sea Wings

For our group of 10 guys, the price and cliffside location were hard to beat. The rooms were clean, and Jishnu bro helped us out a lot, including finding rental bikes during the busy season. We had a great time staying here.

There are better places nearby. The rooms feel cramped, the furniture is sparse and looks old, and the walls are extremely thin. It seems like the rooms were squeezed into whatever space was available. One room had a door opening into the kitchen, and in the other, the bed was so close that we couldn't open the balcony door. They didn't even arrange drinking water for us. I also suggest reading the negative reviews and the owner's replies. To me, the responses come across as arrogant and blame the guests instead of apologizing.

Sea Wings had what I wanted for my vacation: a comfortable, clean room and an amazing sea view. It's right on the cliff, with lots of cafes and places to eat nearby, and there's a balcony looking out at the water. Jishnu, the caretaker, was very helpful with transport and other activities. I'd recommend it.

The view is lovely, and the location near the Varkala helipad is very convenient. But the rates felt high for such small rooms, especially when other hotels are available along the lane. Service was average, with no special touches, and there wasn't even a water bottle or basic toiletries. The bedsheets weren't clean either, and they didn't provide shampoo, handwash, or anything else.
