There was nobody at the property or reception when I arrived. Agoda lists it as a premium place with a 5-star tariff, but even during peak booking time it was worth hardly ₹1,500 to ₹2,000. I'm writing about Agoda's inaccurate listing so other travelers can avoid the inconvenience, not to review the hotel itself.

The hotel is close to the beach, but even a free stay wouldn't make up for the room. There was no TV, WiFi, cupboard, or table drawers. It had no ventilation and no window curtain, and they didn't change the bedsheet or pillow cover. The quilt smelled of urine. There was no lift either. I don't think this place is worth staying at.

At GM residency, I found the rooms clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly. The location was good too. Great stay, highly recommend!

This is a lodge, not a hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, especially families. There's no lift, front office, help desk, or car parking. It's in a dirty, noisy, crowded part of velankanni, and traffic police may block access because of a problem. My elderly parents had to take an auto to get there. We left soon after seeing the area. The booking app is misleading and feels like a cheat. If you book based only on the photos, you'll be disappointed.

I'm from Karnataka. I can't say much about the owners, but the rooms and atmosphere were very clean and well maintained. Good faculty, and kudos to the in charge, great job. The parking area needs improvement.
