Banasura Hill Resort

We were three friends at this resort at the foot of mighty banasura hills. The earth rooms were thoughtfully designed, clean, spacious, and well maintained, with comfortable beds and tidy bathrooms. Surrounded by nature, it was a lovely spot for birdwatching, and there are a few activities around the property. The kitchen served excellent Kerala food as well as North Indian and Chinese dishes. Every meal was a highlight. There is a pool, an outdoor badminton court, and an activity area above the kitchen. A full Ayurvedic spa was nearly ready. The cottages overlooking the pond had balconies, so we asked if we could change room category. Even though occupancy was low or almost nil, they charged a huge amount for the upgrade. After paying, all we received was a confirmation voucher, which left me wondering whether hotels no longer issue receipts or invoices. All in all, it's a comfortable eco resort in a scenic location, with naturally cool rooms, good food, and a focus on sustainability.

The earth rooms look lovely, though unfortunately you can hear sounds from the other rooms through the walls. It's a favorite place to chill and relax. The food was excellent, and the service felt genuinely personal. Every staff member seemed focused on making the visit comfortable, and they were incredibly helpful.

The peaceful, serene location was great for relaxing, and the staff welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived. They went out of their way to help, and every detail felt thoughtfully handled. Our spacious, spotless rooms were beautifully designed and had stunning views. The indoor play area and dining options were top-notch, and every meal was delicious. It was a memorable stay, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and excellent service. Can't wait to return!

The resort's setting at the foothills of the Banasura mountain ranges is the best part, with scenic views for much of the day. It's a peaceful spot for anyone wanting some solitude and time away from the rest of the world. The property covers 35 acres and also offers mild trekking activities within the grounds. Staff from reception through housekeeping and the restaurant were friendly, resourceful, and accommodating. Special thanks to Mr. Mithun, Unnikrishnan, and Mahesh in the restaurant, who were ready to meet food requests, especially for our infant daughter. We really appreciated the gesture. The rooms and buildings are made from mud and were well maintained. This is an eco resort with rustic charm and good facilities, though you shouldn't expect the setup of a luxury or business hotel. If you want peace and quiet to reflect, it's one of the best places for that.
