Park Residency

The calm atmosphere suited both a family stay and a business trip, and the location was convenient and easy to reach. Food was good, with proper hygiene and taste. I had a very pleasant visit to Kuttiady Park Residency Hotel. The rooms were neat, clean, and well maintained, and the friendly, polite staff were always helpful. Good service at a reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend it.

I spent one night at Park Residency, Kuttiady. The rooms were decent, clean, and had basic facilities, but there's no lift to the upper floors, which could be inconvenient. The receptionist at check-in was welcoming, polite, and helpful. After the shift changed, communication was very poor, and checkout became stressful and time-consuming because of poor coordination and an unprofessional approach. Management should make sure staff know the policies to prevent this kind of confusion and loss of credibility. I had booked three rooms online and took two more directly from the property. At check-in, they showed me a tariff card listing ₹2500 per room, and I paid ₹5000 accordingly. Later that night, we were told the actual rate was ₹2700 per room, then offered an “adjusted” rate of ₹2650 and asked to pay another ₹300. When I questioned it, staff said the tariff card was outdated and hadn't been replaced. There was also confusion over the 24-hour check-in and check-out facility. One of my friends had confirmed it by phone before booking online, but staff later denied it, saying the earlier staff member was new and didn't know the rules. The stay itself was okay, but the checkout experience left a lot to be desired.

The rooms are good and the amenities are okay, so the hotel works for a stay. But be careful with the price, the lift, and food service. There’s no lift, and in Kuttiady there aren’t many other options. The rate felt too high, and if you need a GST bill, agree clearly on the rate plus taxes before booking. They may charge more when you arrive and negotiate, even above what the booking sites show. I stayed from 2000 Hrs at night until 0900 Hrs in the morning. Breakfast was included, and they said the buffet would be ready by 0730 Hrs. At 0830 Hrs, only Idly and sambar were available. They offered fruit juice, but it still wasn’t ready even after I waited 10 minutes after breakfast. Somehow they’re keeping the business going, perhaps because customers have fewer choices.

I keep coming back because the staff are welcoming, courteous, and professional. Room service is prompt, and the rooms are well maintained, which makes each visit comfortable. I’ve stayed here for 9 years, usually 2-3 days a month, and the experience has consistently been excellent.
