Great Trails Wayanad by GRT Hotel

The views were stunning, and the evening activities and high tea were a lovely bonus during our two days at GRT Wayanad. The service from the whole team was first-rate, especially Mr Subhash, while Mr Alan and the restaurant staff were proactive and focused on making our stay good. When we mentioned a bathroom smell that wouldn’t go away, Mr Subhash arranged another room for us, which meant a lot. We also met chef Arun, who made us some delicious meals since the vegetarian menu was very limited.

Max, the gentle giant hound, won us over right away. He was such a playful lover boy, and the resort is truly pet-friendly. We spent two lovely, peaceful nights with family in clean, well-maintained rooms. Our package included breakfast, high tea, and dinner, and the meals were tasty and different each day. Chef Sooraj made a special jackfruit halwa for us, which we especially enjoyed. Vishnu, Prasanna, Sagar, Karthik, Ude, Spa Jessy, and Events Ravi were there whenever we needed them. It felt luxurious and gave us a good break from our busy schedules. We’ll be back.

We spent a week here and found everything as expected, from the food and views to the location, service, and in-dining. We tried nearly every cuisine, and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and the location felt secure. I’d suggest taking a walk around the grounds in the morning and making time for a morning swim.

The F&B team, especially Suraj and Allen, were fantastic at keeping guests comfortable and always served with a smile. They did a great job despite the LPG supply limitations. The resort itself is beautiful, with a picturesque setting and brilliant, spacious rooms. Our bathroom was huge and had a rustic-style bathtub. We had a really relaxing stay at Great Trails, Wayanad.
