Karapuzha Village Resort

We had booked the full meal plan on the resort's recommendation for a three-day, two-night stay on the 30th and 31st, hoping for rest and Kerala-style food after travelling from Bengaluru. Instead, my wife had continuous loose motions and vomiting all night after eating at the resort, and I had severe acidity. We strongly suspect the chicken at lunch was responsible. I sent my dinner back and ate only paratha. We were disappointed that the food didn't reflect Kerala-style preparation. The restaurant team appeared to be from the North-East, and when we explained my wife's condition, they still couldn't provide suitable soft, easily digestible food. After a sleepless night and her condition worsened, we had to cancel the rest of our stay and rush to Mysuru for medical care. Poor food quality, no flexibility, and an inadequate response to a guest health issue ruined the trip. The property and surroundings are scenic, but food hygiene, guest care, and culinary authenticity need serious improvement. We hope management takes this seriously so future guests get safer food and a more responsive service.

The room view was my favorite part, peaceful and scenic, just right for unwinding with family. We enjoyed a calm, satisfying stay at Karapuzha Village Resort. The food tasted fresh and very good, and the friendly staff made us comfortable with genuinely good service. A happy, memorable family trip, and I'd definitely recommend it.

We were seven people, and communication with the team was easy and smooth. The staff were very cooperative and quick to help with requests, including special ones around the delicious food. The peaceful ambience, with birds and nature all around, made the stay relaxing. Rooms and grounds were clean, fresh, and well maintained. A lovely place we'd recommend.

The resort had plenty to keep us busy, including badminton, swimming, and a basketball court. There was also a hygienic, fully equipped indoor playroom, and the food was great. The location itself was very peaceful, with a beautiful, serene view. A fun and calming stay. One idea for the staff: arrange a short hike in the nearby mountains.
