Lakkidi is a lovely location, with scenic misty views from the room window. Though breakfast and dinner weren't included, we could get unlimited buffet meals for an affordable 150-200 per person, and the food tasted good. They also let us check in early and kept our luggage after checkout for the whole day. The room was spacious and the hotel looks good, but the upkeep was poor. There were small hairs below the pillow and bedsheet, the toilet seat didn't look properly cleaned, and the bathroom lock was broken so we couldn't lock it from inside. Termite damage and pests inside the cupboard had made it too dirty to store anything. It felt as if online bookings might get these low-maintenance rooms while offline guests paid more for better ones, though that's just how it seemed to me. When we complained about the room quality, they didn't offer another room. I booked partly because the swimming pool looked good, but maintenance was an issue there too. There was a big hole inside the pool, apparently where the water comes from, and it put me off swimming because it seemed potentially dangerous. I hope they take these issues seriously and improve the services and atmosphere.

For the price, this hotel is very affordable, and the rooms are spacious, with a TV, seating area, and balcony. The mountain views from the hotel are lovely. Staff are courteous, and the quiet, spacious feel is a real plus. It's also close to several well-known restaurants and convenient for getting to nearby tourist spots.

Misrty Gate Hotel was a waste of money for me. The room smelled bad, the toilet seat was broken, and the bathroom doorknob was damaged. Bedsheets and furniture looked dirty, as if something had spilled and never been cleaned properly. The rooms looked nothing like the misleading online photos. Hospitality was poor and the staff seemed unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend staying here, and I wouldn't rely on the pictures when booking.

The hotel is right on the main road, so it's easy to reach and convenient for getting around nearby. The rooms were fine and reasonably comfortable for a short stay, but the experience was pretty average and not especially memorable. It works if you just need a basic, decent room, as long as you aren't expecting anything outstanding.

The room was spacious and the balcony large, but those were the only good points. The paint and interiors had clearly deteriorated over time, the bed and pillow covers were stained, the toilet seat was broken, and the Wi-Fi didn't work at all. I had booked three nights over the Christmas holidays, but the poor room quality made me check out on the first day. It was extremely disappointing, and I strongly wouldn't recommend the place.
