We were a group of five, ages 22 to 81, and we all agreed we’d stay here again. It’s conveniently placed for Gariahat and Ballygunge. The deluxe room had comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Four pieces of luggage made it cramped, but still manageable. We booked at very short notice after a bad Airbnb experience. Our first impression was good, and reception let us view the bedrooms before booking. The staff were the real stars: friendly, professional, and very helpful. We misplaced some shopping, and the security guard managed to retrieve it. Housekeeping was efficient, and the room service food was well cooked with generous portions. We especially liked the vegetable pilau rice and chicken legs. The towels and bath mats looked a bit worn, although they were clean, and mugs for the tea and coffee service in each room would be a nice addition. Thanks to everyone for a comfortable stay.

It was easy to get around and explore from this conveniently located hotel. The staff were friendly and always ready to help with a smile. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with the basic amenities I needed for a short trip. I had a really pleasant stay.

The phone number listed on the map doesn’t work at the moment, which was the only issue. The location is very good, the price is within budget, and the receptionist was more than courteous about our needs. We had a pleasant stay, and the service was good. It deserves five stars, and I’d keep it in mind for my next Kolkata visit.

Perima’s is just a two-minute walk away and well worth trying. At the hotel, the staff were friendly and quick to sort out any problems, and I found the beds comfortable, the rooms a decent size, and the shower strong. The rooms could use fresh paint, though, and the website photos look a few years old. The restaurant also looks quite different from its pictures, though I didn’t eat there. The WiFi was so slow I ended up using my phone’s 4G.

We moved out early because the bathroom smelled bad, was in poor condition, and didn’t have a proper door. The room was also much smaller than it looked in the online photos. The manager and staff seemed very dishonest. The policy says guests checking out before 5 pm should get half a day refunded, but after you pay, apparently you can’t expect the money back. This place doesn’t deserve a three-star rating. I won’t return or recommend it.
