Fab-hotel Dream Plaza and Majestic Suite have the same owner. This newer hotel opened in April, 2024. Our room was cleaner than the one at their other hotel and had the basic amenities, but service was horrible. We waited over an hour for our keys; when nobody brought them, I had to go get them from reception. We stayed for 3-4 days while the place was still under construction. Workers kept coming in to finish pending jobs, like fixing the washroom light and checking electrical work, without anyone telling us this would happen. They said it was a new hotel. Bring water bottles for the night if you stay, since you may not be able to rely on them for a late-night purchase.

A calm neighborhood means you don’t get the city’s hustle and bustle, and it’s about five minutes from biswa bangla gate. For a budget stay, it’s an easy choice, though the rooms don’t feel budget once you’re inside. They’re nicely done, with a smart TV, a couple of drawers and an almirah for your things. The room was clean and comfortable for two, and the bathroom was spacious and clean too. Wi-Fi was good. There’s an in-house restro, though it’s a bit pricey, and you can order outside food. The owner and caretaker staff were very polite and ready to help whenever needed.
