For this price, the clean beds, fresh towels, bathroom supplies and enough water are about what you can expect. It's mostly run by the owner and his family, and the staff treat you like family. I wouldn't call it a very good hotel otherwise. The restaurant attached on the ground floor is one to avoid unless you're a mal. The guy charges you for every piece of rice or roti, which felt like a scam. There are decent delivery options, so I'd use those. I also would have preferred a spot closer to the main city, since everything is far away.

The host kindly let us check out late, and he pointed us to great places to visit and eat in Wayanad. Because of that, all our breakfasts, lunches and dinners were at really good places. Five friends and I stayed at Green Mushroom for New Year's 2022. The place was very clean, the rooms worked well for bachelors or families, and the rates were affordable. Five stars for hospitality, cleanliness and room amenities. Highly recommended.

The owner and his family run this small place with heart and treat guests like family. It has basic amenities, and seems like a very good budget choice if you're travelling cheaply and don't need major services. Be careful about which location you choose, and avoid the restaurant adjoining it on the ground floor.

There are several nearby places for delicious Kerala dishes, with around four or five hotels within 100 metres, and good restaurants next to the hotel too. The property is on the Waynad-Calicut Highway, so it was easy enough to find, and there's sufficient parking for two- and four-wheelers. The hotel was so clean and neat that we had no difficulties. The charges are much lower than other hotels. Owner Sayed Alwas is a great human being, friendly and kind to guests, and treated us very well. Thanks again, see you soon.
