The food was delicious, with authentic Kerala flavors, and the staff were so welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. Our room was clean, roomy, and had a lovely veranda for enjoying the fresh air. Tea Route Holiday Home, Wayanad is set among tea plantations in Meppadi, with beautiful mountain views and a peaceful feel. Kanthanpara Waterfalls, Chembra Peak, and Soochipara Falls are also nearby, so getting out to explore was easy. I had an unforgettable visit and would love to come back.

We hadn't booked a homestay before setting off from Bangalore, so we took a chance and were lucky to find such a lovely place. Mr.Sudarshan, Mrs.Smitha, Vishnu and Arya were all so humble. Mr.Sudarshan was especially helpful, and Mrs.Smitha made us wonderful, tasty food. My kids had a great time and we all enjoyed our stay in wayanad. Thanks to this lovely family for making it memorable. I'd gladly visit again.
Homemade food was the best part for our group of 25, and having meals taken care of made the four days really pleasant. The rooms and garden were neat and clean, and Sudharshan, who manages the homestay, was friendly and helped us with places to visit. I've been to plenty of places in South India and Kerala, and this is the best homestay I've stayed in. Great hospitality, a lovely place, and we were very happy with what we paid. I'd recommend it to other travelers.
We were 14 people staying on 15th december 2019, and had a great time. The house is beautiful, spacious and peaceful, with options for 2 bhk, 3 bhk, or both together for up to 15 people. Breakfast was the standout, authentic Kerala food that was so tasty. sudharshan gave us great service, helped with everything we needed, and took us to a private waterfall through the tea plantations. The campfire and dinner were great too.
The viewpoint about 200 mts behind the homestay was a highlight for us. We spent nearly half a day there, enjoying the mountain views of ooty and Chemabra peak without other tourists around. MR.Sudarshan showed us the spot, so we skipped crowded places like Pookede Lake. The place feels wonderfully calm and close to nature, and the owner and his family were friendly and guided us throughout. Fresh homely food included Kerala favorites like Appam, puttu, idiyappam, banana dishes and crispy ghee dosas. The house has creative interiors, and we loved having tea and snacks in the sit-out with its jula, swing chairs and coffee table. There's also a little garden with pets and a pond full of different fish to keep kids occupied. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived in Meppadi and followed MR.Sudarshan's jeep to the homestay. The atmosphere felt like home, and we had two lovely evenings here. The hospitality deserves real credit. I'd recommend it to couples and families.
