The villas are placed with plenty of privacy, and since we had the whole property to ourselves, that made the stay even better. We came for a staff programme with around 45-50 participants and booked it for a day. The reception team welcomed us warmly, and the ambience, Banasura view, amenities, and restaurant staff were all excellent and polite. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. We also enjoyed the pool, team-building activities on the common ground, and an evening campfire. Everyone had a top-notch time here. It would suit group gatherings, family get-togethers, couples, and small families. Thanks to the Serenity team for hosting us and making the trip wonderful.

The food was tasty and good quality, and in the evening they have a nice bonfire. You can park right outside your room, and the pool gives an infinity-pool feel. The staff were very polite and courteous. The property is right by Banasur Sagar Dam, where you can go to the Dam for the Boat Jetty and Kayaking. One of the best stays I've had, highly recommended.

The staff were the best part of our stay at The Serenity Resort, Vythiri. They were friendly, polite, and supportive, and the included breakfast was very good, with tasty choices and especially good tea. The resort sits in beautiful, peaceful natural surroundings, and the chikoo welcome drink was tasty and a nice touch. The room was comfortable, though we didn't feel it was worth quite what we paid. Shower hot water came slowly and without pressure, there was no hand wash in the toilet, and the warm-only lighting was rather dim. The hanging bridge looked old and didn't feel safe. Being close to Banasura Sagar Dam, it would be nice to have more things to do, such as fishing or other outdoor activities. It was a good stay, with a few areas that could be improved.

Right next to Banasura dam, this is a lovely nature stay and feels safe for kids. Everything looks so aesthetic and natural, the service is great, and there's a wonderful spa. They also offered a complimentary soft trek around the property.

The pool had far too much chlorine, the food was ordinary, and the play area and benches are old and need an uplift. They didn't even have a clothes stand on a quiet day. These are small but essential things for a resort stay, and the owner seems to be missing them. They also raised the price from 9500 to 11000 after seeing I was interested in going ahead. The kitchen was left to total juniors without any seniors, which was a red flag that the owner was taking things casually. The resort is fine, but there's nothing extraordinary about its location or service, so I can't give it five stars. I'd pay more if the service matched, but I wouldn't say this is worth more than 7k.
