We spent two days at this resort and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was relaxing, our room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I'd recommend staying here and would be happy to come back.

I loved how peaceful and close to nature Uravu Bamboo Resort in Wayanad feels. It's set a bit off-road, which gives it a secluded, quiet atmosphere. Our thoughtfully designed room was beautiful, and the balcony looking out over the jungle was a lovely place to sit and relax. The open-top bathroom was another highlight, with a refreshing, natural feel while still being comfortable. Meals are homemade and arranged by the owner, but you need to let them know in advance what you'd like. They're charged separately, and we found them delicious and worth it. The owner was helpful, shared information about local places, and told us the story of how the resort was built, which made the stay feel more personal. A comfortable, serene spot if you want to get away from city life and enjoy nature in Wayanad.

We booked four nights and ended up extending our stay, and now that we've left, we're already eager to come back. In over three months in India, this is the most beautiful place we've stayed. The bamboo structures are so lovely, and all around there's nature and birdsong to wake up to. The service is great, with someone always nearby to help, and they offer nice tours around the village. Since it's a bit remote, I'd recommend bringing your own or a rental vehicle so you have the freedom to drive around. There's so much beautiful nature to enjoy in Wayanad!

Everything here is built using bamboo products, and this bamboo-themed resort in Trikkaippatta village has only three cottages. There's no pool, and group bookings aren't preferred, so it seems best suited to couples or families. Check-in after 6 pm isn't preferred. The place has a quiet, peaceful feel, and there's an open kitchen. Food choices are limited, but the breakfast they served was tasty and enough.

It's a lovely natural setting, built from authentic bamboo, and works well if you want to stay close to nature. On hot days, though, I really missed having AC. The dinner options weren't very good value, and a few more lights along the paths would help at night.
