The road up to Vythiri Retreat is steep and could be difficult for a sedan. We found the rooms and facilities decent for the price, including a small pool and a kids' play area, though there isn't much space for play. The buffet breakfast was satisfactory, with acceptable options. The location, views, and pleasant atmosphere are lovely, and the stay is budget-friendly. I had mixed feelings, but it's a reasonable choice for an affordable getaway.

We really enjoyed our time here, and the staff were friendly. The road up to the resort is steep. Experienced drivers should manage it, but others might find it challenging. We had a good stay and a great experience!

Getting around was a major problem because the hotel is so hard to reach and proper transport doesn't come here. Service was also almost nonexistent: hardly anyone was available to help, and basic hospitality was missing. The property felt poorly managed and maintained. My stay in Wayanad was frustrating and not worth the money. I'd urge future travelers to think carefully before booking, especially if they need even basic service and access.

The quiet, relaxing atmosphere made it easy to unwind, and the staff were thoughtful, polite, and quick to help. The resort was very clean and well cared for, with a great breakfast that had plenty of variety and tasted good. There are lovely views and lots of pretty spots around the property for photos. I had a wonderful stay here with friends and would recommend it to anyone after peace, comfort, and scenic surroundings.

The pool was a real highlight, with clear water and lots of loungers for sitting in the sun. Faizee at reception was friendly and helpful, and made both check-in and check-out easy. My room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it had the amenities I needed. The grounds felt peaceful and were well kept, so it was a lovely relaxing break. I had a great time and would recommend the resort for a quiet retreat. Five stars.
