Hotel Midcity

We had the banquet hall for our son's first birthday. The hall itself is small, but it has a separate dining area, and the entrance space outside is very spacious and can also be used for the celebration. You can plan something big, there's plenty of room overall. Food was decent. They charged 700rs per plate, and we ordered for 200 people, which felt a bit expensive. They included one room. The main downside was the rule for extra rooms: even for freshening up, only two people were allowed per room, with one additional person possible for an extra charge. Since the room costs 4200rs and wouldn't be used for staying overnight, it would be better if they let at least 4-5 people use it. Apart from that room issue, it's good and suitable for celebrations.

The restaurant food was good, freshly made for each meal, and the service and atmosphere were good too. Hotel Midcity is one of the best places to stay and dine while in town.

The in-house restaurant had a tasty range of dishes, all fresh and well prepared, and room service was available if you wanted to eat in your room. Hotel Midcity is conveniently placed for getting around to major attractions and transport links in Vijayawada. I found it a good fit for either business or leisure, with comfort and service that felt worth the price. My room was spacious, well maintained, clean, and had modern amenities. Staff were welcoming from the moment I arrived, check-in was easy, and I appreciated the attention to hygiene. It exceeded my expectations, and I’d happily stay again on my next trip.

The service was awful. I’ve never experienced this kind of behavior or these rules at a hotel in Vijayawada. Whatever we asked, the staff just said management rules were strict. Worst hotel.
