Thyag Inn Hotel

The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are friendly. I really like this place, and the rooms are good. Breakfast is free and really tasty, with about four kinds of tiffin to choose from. Room service is good too. There are a couple of room issues, though. One room often has no hot water, and in the other the shower holder doesn't work properly, so the shower keeps falling down.

The AC was so loud it sounded like a generator, and the TV only had free channels, no sports or movie channels. Breakfast was bad, and parking wasn't proper. The bathroom was dirty, the bucket was broken, and the shower didn't work.

The main plus is how close it is to Benz Circle; otherwise, I'd avoid it. The rooms are spacious but old and dim, and there's too little light in both the rooms and hallways. Wear and tear shows on the linens, wardrobe, cable connection, fittings, and most other things. They charged 30% extra for checking in three hours early, which felt like too much for the amenities.

The hotel and its surroundings seemed fine to me, but the staff experience was awful. After I rated my stay in the OYO app, a staff member called and warned me that they had my ID cards and wouldn’t check me in next time. The hotel itself was nice, in my opinion, but I can’t recommend it because of how they treated my valuable ID proofs. Please don’t choose it.
