Club Mahindra Virajpet

We had a lovely stay in a comfortable two-bedroom apartment, tucked among greenery with birdsong around us. It’s a great place to bring children. The buffet offered lots of choice and the food was quite good. We arrived late for lunch, but the staff kindly made us whatever we asked for. The spa was enjoyable, though a bit expensive.

The gardens are the real highlight, with flowering plants, shrubs, and trees right outside the rooms, all carefully maintained. It’s a clean, spacious, functional property, much like a typical Club Mahindra resort. Our room was comfortable and roomy enough, and housekeeping stayed busy and attentive. This is a good spot for a laid-back holiday, though a trip out and back can take 2 to 3 hours.

You’ll need your own vehicle or a cab to get here, and local transport for sightseeing too. Once there, it’s a peaceful location well away from city noise, with attentive staff and good service. There’s plenty to do, including swimming, games, activities, and a spa, as well as sightseeing nearby. As at other Club Mahindra properties, the food is expensive.

My sister’s family are Club Mahindra members and booked this resort in Virajpet so we could spend time together while we were visiting India. We mostly relaxed by the pool and at the spa, which was nice and restful, while my nephew and niece had a blast with the activities and adventure sports. It’s a peaceful place, and the staff really made the experience. Everyone was so pleasant and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. I appreciated their professionalism.
