The extra mattress was the one good thing. Otherwise, the place looked more like a lodge than a hotel, and ₹5,000 was far too much. The walls were marked and dirty, and the pillows were dirty too. For three adults, they wouldn't give us three towels, saying one per room even though we'd already received two. I was shocked to find they were refilling old plastic bottles for the mineral water. The filter tank was visibly full of algae. When we asked to use the TV, they would recharge only the specific channels we requested. The quality didn't match the pictures at all. Don't be misled by the online reviews.

I stayed for about 10 days, and it felt like being at home. The owner is a wonderful, kind person, and the staff treated us like family. My family members who were with me felt the same way. I've travelled to many places in India, but staying in Vizag won my heart because of BLUE MOON HOTEL. Thanks, BLUMOON HOTEL. I'll be back very soon. It's right in the heart of the city at JAGADAMBA SQUARE, with everything nearby. If you're looking for a budget-friendly family hotel, just go for it.

After a long journey, we arrived late at night and had a horrible welcome. While I was handing over my ID, the manager or receptionist made offensive, derogatory remarks and didn't know how to deal with customers professionally. I told him clearly that he was overstepping and had no right to behave like that. The rooms were very basic, with nothing fancy. If the owner wants the business to last, they should consider removing that manager.

Don't go here. The hotel isn't suitable for families or couples. It's beside a bar shop, the rooms smell strongly of alcohol and cigarettes, and the washrooms aren't clean. The beds are very cheap, and the whole room feels like a lodge.
