Hotel Lakshmi Grand

The bed was right beside the washroom in the same cramped room, there was no light in the washroom, and the doormats were in terrible condition. There's no service, so I'd avoid it with family. I booked a non-AC room through Goibibo for 910 rs, then asked for AC because the room was so congested and was charged another 500. They also charged 300 for my 10 years baby for that same cramped room. Check out the rooms in person before booking.

The owner was very arrogant. When we asked the price in person, he said 1500, though rooms were available on Goibibo for 600 rupees. The bed was dirty, and when we asked to have it replaced, he refused.

I stayed alone and was shocked when police came to my room, asked for my ID even though I'd already given it to the hotel at check-in, and questioned me about personal matters. They asked where I was from, where I worked, and even my annual salary. I don't know why they visited or what prompted it, and I found the whole thing intrusive and harassing. As a paying guest, I expect privacy and respect from the hotel and its associates, including law enforcement. Having police enter my room and grill me with personal questions felt like a clear breach of that privacy. I advise potential guests to think twice, especially if they value their privacy. Management needs to ensure guests are treated with dignity and that law enforcement isn't used to intimidate or harass customers. I'd avoid staying here until the hotel addresses this and respects guest privacy.

Everything was bad, from the staff to the rooms. Worst experience ever. I would've given zero stars if I could. Please don't book here.
