Treebo Cool River

We had booked and paid in advance, but on arrival they said there were no rooms. After we complained and contacted Treebo customer support, they finally gave us one. Later, we locked the room and went out for dinner around 10 pm. When we returned at 1 AM, the door was wide open. I went to reception to ask about security and found the receptionist asleep. He acted as if he knew nothing when I confronted him, so I called the police and explained what had happened. I needed a policeman's guarantee for my safety. That night ruined our stay and our time there. The evening reception staff were horrible. Tip: if a hotel won't provide the room you booked online, find somewhere else to stay and cancel straight away.

The staff were polite and gentle, and breakfast was very good, even though the hotel has no restaurant. The hotel and rooms are nice, but I wouldn't choose them for a long stay. Housekeeping was lacking, and they still hadn't changed the bed linens after I asked several times. The dirty comforters made my daughter catch a cold and cough. They gave us just one water bottle a day, with no RO filter or other water option, so we had to buy more from them at a higher price.

I only ended up here because my dad was sick and my friend's brother suggested it. It was a bad experience, and I'd keep this as a last option or skip it if possible. I don't want to go into everything that happened, but there was a rude receptionist, cockroaches in the room, and stained sheets.

It's a nice place for a moderate price, with Western-style interiors and bathroom design. I liked being able to adjust the light direction for work, and the room had an electric kettle for hot water. The fans are controlled by remote too.
