OYO 14983 Gawala Ashram

There was no proper water supply while I was in the toilet, and the place felt unsafe for families and women. The proprietor, reception staff, and other staff were all terrible. They looked like street rowdys from the movies, and the receptionist was arrogant when I asked him to replace the used LENIN he'd given me with a freshly washed one. He insisted it was washed and new, but it was used. OYO charged for AC accommodation with WiFi and breakfast, but I didn't get any of those three. They do offer breakfast if you pay, but they get it from a street side hotel. It was only puri sabji, in a limited, small quantity. The bathroom vent has transparent glass, as do the area above the main door and the window, so someone outside can see into the room and toilet even when you're locked inside. One more thing: I think the hotelier gave himself the rating and reviews using customers' phones, so the star ratings and reviews are almost falls. The receptionist asked pleasantly to see my Booking ID in the OYO app, then smoothly took the phone from my hands, quickly checked out and gave himself a 5-star rating before closing the app and handing it back. Everything happened very fast, like he was trained to do it. How could I give this very bad hotel 5 stars? I'm uploading photos too.

I booked these rooms based on the ratings, but I'm not satisfied with them. In one of the two rooms, the geyser didn't work, and the water supply was poor. There was no TV remote either, and the hotel had no WiFi. I shouldn't have trusted the ratings.

The bathroom wasn't clean, the water supply there was poor, and the water geyser didn't work properly. I also had trouble with Oyo's app and customer care. I called four times, but only two calls connected, and they didn't share any information about the hotel or its contact number.

The bathroom smelled, and they provide only one towel per room even when there are two guests. The rooms aren't proper, and the atmosphere doesn't feel suitable for a family, or even for staying with friends. Worst experience ever. I wouldn't have given even one star if it weren't mandatory. I wouldn't consider staying here.
