Rukmani Inn

The price felt far too high for the facilities and comfort on offer. My stay fell well below expectations: the room was dusty, the bathroom smelled bad, and the linens didn't look freshly washed. Basic requests like towels took several calls because service was slow and unresponsive. The staff lacked courtesy and professionalism and didn't seem interested in helping. I chose the hotel based on some positive reviews, but my honest experience was very different. I suspect those good reviews may be self-posted.

The room was damp and full of mosquitoes, with poor lighting and no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The rooms, blankets, and sheets were dirty, and the washroom had black, dirty water. They regularly ran out of water, service was horrible, and room service was very poor.

After booking, I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone, even when I needed urgent help. The staff seemed careless. We said 4 people would be staying and were told we'd get two bedsheets, but only one arrived, with no cover, blanket, or sheet to use for covering. The bathroom was filthy and stained, with gutka (Rajshree) marks all over the walls. Cleanliness, service, and basic hospitality were all very bad. I absolutely don't recommend Rukmini Inn.

We were charged for eight days even though we stayed for only three. The rooms stank, nobody came to clean them, the staff were unprofessional, and the man at reception was very rude. Disaster of a hotel. I wish I could give a negative rating. Please don't fall into the trap, they'll loot you. If you're coming to vrindavan for peace, I'm asking everyone not to stay here.
