The Grand ND Resort

The room dustbin hadn't been cleaned and the rooms weren't well maintained. The food service was the one good part, though they still brought us a breakfast bill even though breakfast was included. The location is far inside, and reception doesn't answer calls. They call it a resort, but it's a building with no pool or garden. Be careful with the family suite: they don't allow more than four people and tell you to book an extra room on the website, which felt like a scam. At checkout, they calculated the amount wrong and asked for extra money, then reduced it once we did the calculation properly.

Mr. Vijay was the one bright spot: he understood our concerns, though he seemed unable to do much. In our recent visit to Vrindavan, the first room at ND Grand had a leaking bathroom that flooded the floor and smelled bad, creating a slipping risk for our older family members. The room was cramped, with no charging points by the beds. We asked to move, but the second room was worse: there was an electric current in the bathroom tap water. After several complaints, an electrician came at midnight without proper equipment and tested the water with his hands. We were shocked by how casually he handled it. We left and immediately booked another hotel. The staff's casual attitude and the property's failure to function like a resort made this a very disappointing and unsafe stay. We wouldn't recommend Grand ND Resort.

We didn't manage to take room photos, but this was a great choice and I'd definitely recommend it. The rooms were clean and great, and the food and service were excellent. It's a very cost-effective hotel. Being behind Prem mandir and Iskcon is helpful when traffic is blocked and there's a rush, since we can walk to the temples.

The second room was even worse after we moved because of a leak in the first bathroom. We felt electric current in the water at the taps and wash basins in both bathrooms, which is extremely unsafe. In the first room, the bathroom floor flooded and smelled strange and bad; the rooms felt small and uncomfortable, with no charging points near the side tables. It doesn't really feel like a resort, more like an apartment building renting out a few rooms, with no resort facilities. Very bad experience, and I wouldn't recommend Grand ND Resort.
