The Vrindavan Inn

We felt scared at night, as if someone's shadow were following and staring at us. The gate was also knocked very hard many times, and there was no helpful nature at the hotel. On top of that, the staff were rude, didn’t explain the charges properly, and tried to make extra money without telling guests. Keep track of everything you order if you visit. They even charge gst on a water bottle.

We were on a tour package and had to move to another hotel nearby because the stay became untenable. The replacement was significantly better for comfort and service. At checkout, the manager said he’d waive our room charges, but later we were told we’d been charged anyway. He did try to step in and arrange food, and I appreciated the intent, but the follow-through felt unfair and misleading. The biggest problem during our stay was dinner. A private birthday party meant guests couldn’t sit in the restaurant, and we were told to order to our room instead. When we tried, apparently nothing was available except the party food, leaving us without dinner after a long travel day. The room itself was extremely small, with barely space to walk beyond the bed. Its TV unit was broken and lying on the floor, the walls had visible damage and patches, and the washroom wasn’t clean. Maintenance seemed neglected. We also asked for a heater because it was winter, but were told none were available, which was disappointing for a place marketed as a 3-star hotel. The uncomfortable room, missing basic amenities, restaurant restrictions, and inconsistent communication made for a very poor experience. I wouldn’t recommend it without major improvements to room maintenance and cleanliness, guest handling during private events, food availability and transparency, and consistency in staff commitments. Vrindavan gets many pilgrims and travelers seeking peace and comfort, but this hotel didn’t meet basic expectations.

We stayed for five days and four nights, and found the atmosphere calm and soothing. The location is decent, with nearby places easy to reach, and the food was good and authentic. Hospitality was top notch, and the rooms were nit clean. It was a great experience for a budget stay. Thanks to all the staff.

A good spot for visitors, in a good location. The hotel offers good service, excellent food, and a superb breakfast. The rooms are a good standard for the price. I’d recommend staying here.
