Girassol Serviced Villa

We came as a family group of more than 50, and it was a thrilling, fun place for us. The staff were good and very cooperative, and they helped us out. Rooms and parking space were very good, and the campfire and breakfast were there too. Yes, a nice place.

Sixteen adults and six kids stayed for one night. It was comfortable and family-friendly, and everyone enjoyed the visit. A very good experience for a family trip.

We visited in September 2025 as a group of more than 30 adults and kids, and stayed in Deluxe and Classic rooms. Rates were ₹900 per adult aged 12 and over, and ₹450 per child aged 6-12. The clean, well-kept pool and its surrounding area were a plus, as were the spacious parking area, free Wi-Fi, two speakers for guests, and the chicken grill area and facilities. The location is fairly close to the main Vythiri road and town. It's a good option for groups of 20 or more. The spacious indoor rooftop is useful for games and parties, even in the rainy season. There are several drawbacks. The rooftop room doesn't offer much privacy because of its glass walls and a door without a key lock. The building exterior looks old and gives a poor first impression. The website images appear to be from when it was built or repainted. Breakfast is complimentary, but the limited menu isn't shared beforehand: puttu, kadala, bread and jam, banana, tea, and coffee. There's little difference between the Deluxe and Classic rooms apart from an extra mattress on the floor in the Deluxe. The road to the entrance is in poor condition, and the staff aren't professional. Rooms have three single beds for sharing, which feels cramped for three adults; groups with kids may have to adjust. Confirm extra beds in advance. Bottled water isn't provided, so you have to get filtered water from the kitchen. Large groups may be split between two buildings, which isn't ideal for small families or couples. Guests can't cook their own food apart from grilling. The common refrigerator is old and rusted. After check-in, staff don't check in with guests, so you may need to contact them several times for basic things like pillows, AC remotes, or getting the AC switched on.

A nice place to stay with family. The service and breakfast were very good, and the staff were especially kind and polite.
