Vythiri Hill Palace

The location is breathtaking, and we enjoyed the facilities at Vythiri Hill Palace Resort. It had the peaceful getaway feel I’d been hoping for, and our room was really clean and comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with top-notch hospitality. The whole place felt luxurious, you know? Definitely worth every rupee. We loved it.

His positive attitude and care for the property really stood out. Staff like Salmon make the resort feel welcoming and comfortable, and we appreciated his support and hospitality. We ended up extending our stay by one more day because we enjoyed it so much. Mr Siddique, the manager, took care of everything and handled every request we made. The staff were kind and attentive, and the atmosphere was excellent for nature lovers. It was a memorable experience, and I’d highly recommend it.

The resort has striking views of mountain peaks and tea gardens, with a peaceful, natural feel. It’s near Vythiri Government Hospital and about 1.7 km from Pookode Lake. Guests often praise the friendly, attentive staff and host or caretaker, including help with local directions and arranging sightseeing. The private balconies offer tea estate views and sunrises, and the pricing is affordable for the space. Accommodation feedback is mixed. Some found the “Tea Trees Suite” and “Pepper Villa” spacious, clean, and well furnished, while others reported broken furniture, faulty electronics, and linen cleanliness problems. Upkeep can be inconsistent, with reports of bathroom leaks, loose fixtures, and aging furniture in some units. Some guests also mentioned missing basics like towels or toiletries and inconsistent hot water. There’s no full-scale restaurant on site. Breakfast is usually a standard Kerala-style meal, often ordered from outside. Many enjoy it, though some found little variety or had trouble getting even simple things like coffee without a resident cook. The narrow, steep access road can be difficult for regular cars and for drivers unfamiliar with the terrain.
