Hotel Ambience Excellency

The PA system and WiFi weren't up to par and should be checked beforehand for problems. Apart from that, the staff were helpful and well behaved, the food was very good, and our guests enjoyed it. Mr. Ashish, the banquet manager, was kind and guided us through the process.

The restaurant's decor stood out to me, especially the photos and articles about musical instruments, and what looked like real instruments used in the interior. There's parking, and the location is easy to get to. The rooms are good, though not great. The pure veg restaurant serves decent food, but the taste and variety could improve. Breakfast wasn't good, while the service was good.

The other service and hospitality here are top notch, but the way Omkar handled our request is what made me write this. We're regulars, and we forgot to order before 11 pm. We accept that. We called at 11:09 to ask for food, were told the kitchen was closed, and kept asking. We were able to get a beer, which we're thankful for, but they refused even jeera rice and dal tadka. I understand the kitchen closes at 11, and staff may have forgotten to remind us. Still, there was no need for the rude response. I asked the staff member's name in anger, and he proudly said OMKAR straight away. Staff need to know how to speak to customers.

We found bits of plastic in both the paneer makhni gravy and the schezwan chutney while eating. We complained to the captain, who said he'd look into it, but nobody came back or even apologized. Everyone carried on serving other customers and ignored us as if nothing had happened. That's not good.
